Good day, @Boca.

Thanks for visiting the Community. I want to help in printing reports in QuickBooks.

First, may I know what QuickBooks product and version you’re using? Also, did the error only come up when printing specific reports?

Knowing a few more details will ensure I provide the correct resolution. Please get back to me by leaving a comment below and we’ll take it from there. Take care and have a good one!

Hello there, @BocaB.

How’s it going so far? I haven’t got any response from you and I’d like to make sure everything is fine now on your end.

Are you still getting the same problem when printing reports? If so, you need to download and run the QuickBooks PDF & Print Repair Tool to resolve the issue. This tool identifies what caused it and help QuickBooks in fixing the error.

Here’s how:
1.    Download and run the QuickBooks Print and PDF Repair Tool.
2.    Once the tool completes, try the .pdf file-related task that originally generated the error.

Once done, you should be able to print reports without any issue. For other recommended troubleshooting steps, please check out this article: Troubleshoot PDF and Print problems with QuickBooks Desktop.

That should do it. Stay in touch if you need anything else, I’ll be more than happy to help. Have a good one!

Hello, @cannot import inventory because.

Here are the possible reasons why you encounter printing problems in QuickBooks Desktop.

  • QuickBooks Desktop isn't updated.
  • Printer drivers are not ready.
  • The connection problem between QuickBooks and the printer is unstable, and etc..

Let's first make sure that your QuickBooks program is updated to the latest version. Once checked, let's also ensure that the Adobe Reader and Adobe Acrobat installed in your computer is updated. This resolves most printing problems in QuickBooks.

Here's how:

  1. Launch Adobe Reader or Acrobat.
  2. Choose Help, and then Check for Updates.
  3. Follow the steps in the update window to download and install the latest updates.

You can use this article for more detailed insights: Repair, or Re-install Adobe Reader/Acrobat.

If the issue persists, let's run the QuickBooks PDF and Print Repair Tool. This helps fix common printing issues. Here's how:

  1. Download and run the QuickBooks PDF and Print Repair Tool.
  2. Once the tool completes, try the .pdf file-related task that first caused the error.
  3. If the error still appears, try rebooting your computer and try again.

Right after, try printing invoices or checks to see if it works.

Looking forward to hearing again from you if you have other questions about navigating around QuickBooks.
