Let's re-sort your customer list, @Parkerboy77.

Resorting will help refresh and put back your customer list into its default order. This way, QuickBooks will identify your customers and help us email your invoices and statements.

  1. Go to the Customer menu and choose Customer Center.

  2. Highlight the customer name. Right-click on your mouse and select Re-sort List.
  3. Click OK on the Are you sure you want to return this list to its original order? prompt.

Once done, go back to the Create Statement window. You should be able to make and email them without getting the "You have No Customers" error.

Otherwise, you'll have to perform more steps such as running the Verify/Rebuild UtilitiesThe tool helps self-identify data integrity issues that can cause unexpected behaviors and resolve them.

That should help you get around with the error message, @Parkerboy77. Keep me posted on how it goes by leaving a comment below. I'm still here to help you further.

Problem emailing invoices and statements through QuickBooks

I'm here to help you sort this out, Scooby21.

Before proceeding, did you encounter messages when sending statements and reports from Quickbooks? This helps us provided an accurate solution to resolve this.

If you're using QuickBooks Desktop, let's run the Verify and Rebuild Data utility in the system. The tool scan data issues within the company file and self-resolves them.

To verify data:

  1. Open the company file.
  2. Click the File tab at the top menu.
  3. Select Utilities.
  4. Choose Verify Data.

For rebuild data:

  1. Open the company file.
  2. Click the File tab at the top menu.
  3. Select Utilities.
  4. Choose Rebuild Data.

If the issue persists, I suggest performing the troubleshooting steps shared in this article: Fix Common Problems and Errors with the QuickBooks Desktop Tool Hub.

For QuickBooks Online (QBO), let's login to your QBO account via a private window. This helps us determine if this is a browser-related issue.

Here are the keyboard shortcuts:

  • Safari: Command + Shift + N
  • Google Chrome: CTRL + Shift + N
  • Mozilla Firefox or Microsoft Edge: CTRL + Shift + P

After signing in, send a statement or report. If you're able to do so, I'd suggest clearing the browser's cache to improve its functionality.

It's also best to use supported browsers. They'll provide you the best and most secure experience with QuickBooks.
