problem using old versions of quickbooks on pc

I have all my records on quickbooks 2003. After latest Windows update, my 64 bit pc will not work with the 32 bit 2003 upgrade from qb 2000.  Is there a way to make my Windows pc use quickbooks 2003 as it did three weeks ago?  

Can I update the saved data (on thumb drive) to appear if I upgrade to a much later qb version?

Hello, Forlabs. We no longer provide support for the 2003 version.

 

The reason is that your new 64-bit Windows system and the 20-year-old QuickBooks software are not compatible at all. However, your data isn't deleted. It’s still on your thumb drive, it’s just locked in an old format.

You can upgrade to QB Desktop 2020 or 2021 with a non subscription license and run it on your new machine. You can contact @Fiat Lux - ASIA via email directly and they will help you with it.
