Buy nowFor some reason, Profit & Loss YTD comparison has stopped working for me.
Whether I choose dates from the descriptor (i.e. This Fiscal YTD") or customize by typing in the cells 01/01/22 and 05/30/22, the two columns that are produced always show that period THE SAME in both columns. If it type in dates 01/01/21 and 05/30/21, both will show last year.
Note I am on Mac for Desktop 2022. I saw another community response that advised a user to use a drop down to "Select to compare different periods." Unless that is somewhere other than the report sidebar, it doesn't exist in the Mac version. If it's not in the sidebar, can someone tell me where it is?
Thanks for helping!

Alas, that doesn't solve it.
QuickBooks says that I have the newest version, 21.04.
I actually noticed this issue last year, when I was still on the 2020 version.
It seems to be a setting, not a version. Whatever the solution is, it's not intuitive, either in drop down menus or search.
Can someone identify what is set amiss? It seems pretty elementary that choosing the report "Previous YTD comparison" should not produce two columns side by side with the exact same dates!
Apologies: disregard, I found it!
Though the report is called "Previous" I see that I still have to select "Other column," "Prev. Year."
