Qb Desktop - How to change report title to fit without getting cut off at the end?

I have a job profitability detail report that I need to run daily but the title gets cut off at the end. I have made the font smaller to see if that would work, it doesn't. My line will look like:

Job Profitability Detail NAME, ADD and JOB#

The Job# is usually the part that doesn't make it on the report.

Is there a way to shorten the name of the report or have the title go into a 2nd line?

Thank you!

Yes, there's a way to shorten or rename the title of the report in QuickBooks Desktop, tacotuesday.

The program provides a handy customization feature that allows you to personalize various aspects, such as changing the report name.

I can guide you through the process step-by-step. Here's how:

  1. Go back to the Job Profitability report.
  2. Click Customize Report.
  3. Proceed to the Header/Footer tab.
  4. Change the name of the report in the Report Title field.
  5. You can also indicate the JOB# in the Subtitle field so it goes down to the second line.
  6. Click OK.

Please note that you can type in a maximum of 60 characters in both fields. You can find more information about this in these articles:
