Buy nowWe have an older desktop non-profit premier. We are considering going online and heard that QB is discontinuing the Premier NP edition in favor of adding the industry-specific NP reports to the online product. What is the timeline for NP reports being available in the online version?
Welcome to the Community, Mrogovin.
Let me share details regarding the non-profit reports in QuickBooks Online (QBO).
Currently, we cannot give a specific timeline for when the non-profit reports will be available. Rest assured that our Product Development team is doing their best to enhance software and to be more user-business friendly for everyone.
In the meantime, if you plan to subscribe to QBO any time soon, ensure your account is configured your account for a non-profit organization. This way, the account will use non-profit organization accounting terms, reports, and forms.
Furthermore, if you have already created your non-profit account. Check this article entails tracking non-profit funds in QBO: Fund Accounting for non-profits in QuickBooks Online.
If you have more questions QBO-related questions, Mrogovin. Don’t hesitate to leave a comment below. I’ll be here to assist you at any time.

I don't see why Intuit cannot add a few reports to the menu for nonprofits and be done with it. This has been requested for years by the nonprofit community. Am I wrong? Are there other differences between Premier for NP and QBO?

As I know, this discount is only valid for the first year. You will pay the regular rate after that. You should contact TechSoup to be sure.

Maybe you should explore using a BI app to integrate with QBO as the workaround.
