So this is a very strange behavior. When I run a Sales by Product/Service Summary Report, the columns for "Amount" and "% of Sales" is summed up per category, but the column Quantity is not. I have not found an option that will sum up this column.
Whenever I run this report, I have to copy and paste the data into Excel in order to use the SUM function on that column. Seems unnecessary to have to paste this data into a third party application to calculate totals.
QB has never summed the qty column, it has been requested many times though
Wow... That is so frustratingly dumb. It can sum up the Quantity column on the Product Details report. Why does Intuit seem to make it so difficult to use its product for basic accounting and reporting purposes...
I think it is also frustrating because we moved over from Quickbooks Desktop, which did sum up the Quantity column.
It seems so basic.
