I know it can be challenging when you can't export them to Excel, JasQ18. I'm here to help you with that.

Since the Enable Editing option isn't available, I'd recommend exporting your report to Excel via a private browser. This doesn't use the existing cache files, which makes it a good place to determine if this is a browser-related issue.

Here are the keyboard shortcuts:

  • Safari: Command + Shift + N
  • Google Chrome: CTRL + Shift + N
  • Mozilla Firefox or Microsoft Edge: CTRL + Shift + P

Once done exporting, check if the correct details show. If so, let's clear the browser's cache. This removes its stored files to ensure the program performs efficiently.

Aside from the private window, you can also use other supported browsers. They'll provide the best and most secure experience with QuickBooks.

If the issue persists, I'd suggest updating your Excel to isolate this. Outdated Excel may have caused exported reports to show blank data. I'll show you how:

  1. Open the Excel file and then go to the File menu.
  2. Select Account, then click Update Options.
  3. Click Update Now

In case you don't see the Update Now option, this means you already have the latest version. With this, it's best to contact the Microsoft Support team. They'll be able to provide you with the steps to resolve this.

If none of these fixes the problem, I'd suggest sharing a screenshot with us. This way, we'll be able to further investigate this.

Additionally, I've included these articles that'll give you snapshots of different areas of your business. This way, you can ensure your books are accurate:
