QuickBooks Advanced Reporting (QBAR)

Is there anyone out there that has produced a report depicting direct labor, fringe benefits and general overhead for a state required report?  If so can you give me instructions on how you built it?? If possible is there anyone who has built any custom reports?  I find that tool impossible and the instructions very complicated.

QuickBooks Advanced Reporting (QBAR)

I tried on of your QB specialists and he charges a whopping $160.00 per hour.  I was told the advanced reporting tool would allow me to create reports not in the database but that is a lie since even the specialists could only construct part of the report and the rest had to be put in excel outside of QB.  It was a lot easier for me to just construct the report in Excel and use totals from reports to fill in the amounts.  manual but done.

QuickBooks Advanced Reporting (QBAR)

Thank you for responding to my frustration.  The report I was trying to create is one of four that is required by contractors working for the State of California and I feel should be in your database.  I wasted a week going from one place to another trying to get answers and wish the different departments would have just said they did not have that report and it can't be constructed.  It's always easier to be upfront and as you say, try to correct.

I don't mind doing the excel outside of QB but as you are aware, transcribing figures into a report leaves open the possibility of errors.  I love how reports just load right up when using a standard report in QB.

QuickBooks Advanced Reporting (QBAR)

You guys (QuickBooks team) put these packages out there, specifically QuickBooks Advance Reporting, QBAR, yet provide very little training.  My company purchased QB as a tool for me to create reports not to pay one of your partners to produce the report.  It doesn't matter how much a person complains about QuickBooks, nothing changes.  I am glad my company has chosen to get away from QuickBooks!
