Managing your invoices in QuickBooks Online (QBO) made it easy for you, @eric-live-spark-. Let me provide further details about this.

Yes, you can set a salesperson for your invoices by adding a Standard user in your QBO Essentials account. You just need to limit their access to create sales transactions. Here's how:

  1. Go to the Gear icon.
  2. Select Manage users.
  3. Click the Add user button.
  4. Choose Standard as the user type, then click Next.
  5. Under the How much access do you want this user to have? section, select Limited, and click the Customers box.
  6. Click Next, then follow the on-screen instructions to complete the process.

I've attached screenshots below that show the last four steps.

In case you've already added one and you want to change their access type, you can refer to this article's Change what a user can do and see section for the detailed steps: Add, delete, or change user access.

On the other hand, there isn't an option to change your sales forms (i.e invoice) decimal format from fixed to floating. However, you can select your numbering format from the Account and Settings page. Here's how:

  1. Go to the Gear icon.
  2. Select Account and settings.
  3. Go to the Advanced menu.
  4. Click anywhere in the Other Preferences section to open its contents.
  5. In the Number format drop-down, select your preferred figure arrangement.
  6. Select Save.

You have the option to customize your sales forms in QBO. This is to let you add information that matters most to your business. To learn more about this, you can check out this article: Customize invoices, estimates, and sales receipts in QuickBooks Online. It also includes steps about editing your custom templates.

Please let me know if you have other concerns. I'm just around to help. Take care always.
