Hello there, @JE28. It's nice to see you in the Community. I'm here to help and provide some insights about deleting transactions in QuickBooks Online.
If you want to remove the word "delete" in your deposit, make sure to delete the deposit transaction. If the transaction is still on the Banking page, you can use Exclude it.
However, if the transaction is still on the Bank register, that's the time you can delete it. However, we do not have the option to remove the tag Deleted, since it comes from the bank. What we can do is to exclude and then manually recreate.
I'm glad to show you how:
I've added these handy articles for more details about the process above:

You can get back to me by leaving a comment below if you have additional questions about removing deleted transactions. I'll be right here to provide the information that you need.
Hi Lolly,
Thanks for getting back to me, I really appreciate you for doing that. I'm having quite a time trying to get all this to work with QBO and I ended up deleting all transactions in that checking account and then made that account inactive and then reconnected with the bank and started all over. I put in the correct starting balance as of the end of Dec. 2021 and I'm working on 2022. Now it changed the starting balance to a different number and it will now only showing 2021, even though when I connected with the bank I put THIS YEAR.
This is not easy to deal with, any help would be excellent.
Thanks so much,
Judy

Hey there, @ERICKHG.
Thanks for joining in on this thread.
To clarify a few things, can you provide me of a screenshot of the three transactions you're referring to?
I don't want you to exclude or delete any transactions that you still may need in the future. I'll be waiting for your response!
