Thank you for your prompt response, unfortunately the issue still remains after trying those solutions. Ive tried google searching as well as contacting customer support and they had me on the phone for an hour simply to tell me that it isnt possible. It was doing it before and now it isnt.

By default, QuickBooks should automatically calculate the total tax rate for each sale based on the tax category of your products/services, the location where sell or ship, and your customer's tax-exempt status.
