Hello everyone. I am new to Quickbooks. Just intalled Quickbooks Premier 2018 Non-Profit version. I am the new treasure at our small HOA and am just starting to setup Quickbooks. I tried to open the Sample Non-Profit Organization QBW file and I get the error that I need to be running the Enterprise version of quickbooks. Is their any sample files that I can open with this desktop version?

Hi,
Welcome to the community.
Go open your QuickBooks while keeping the Control key pressed. This will open QuickBooks and take you to the No Company Open Screen. Now open a Sample fle by clicking at the bottom right. This normally works.
Yes, this has been reported for months. Intuit cleverly shipped the Enterprise version of the sample file with non-enterprise QB. And has not bothered to fix it.

I tried that but still did not work. I can open the other 2 sample companies, but keep getting the error on the Nonprofit Company. Stills says I need the enterprise version.
Thanks I will try the Big Red Consulting file. Is there any sample file for a small HOA like mine?
Hey @CedarLakeHOA,
Welcome to the community. We have a few other members here who use QB Desk and run HOAs, they may have some valuable input.
@WillowLakeHOA, @yorkvillage, do you work with any sample files for your operations? T.I.A.
I sent @Creekside a PM explaining how I set up Customers. They have a different situation then we do since some members own multiple lots. I set mine up with Customer = Lot #
