Quickbooks Security

Our Quickbooks software was hacked into.  Hackers went in changed users, passwords, banking information, vendor information and started billing vendors they set up and getting payments to banks they set up thru our quickbooks.   Intuit Quickbooks was notified and a month after we notified them (which we got no answers then) we still have had no help or answers.  People need to know that Quickbooks has no protocol when the software is hacked, you are basically on your own with no help!  Two other companies we are aware of have had the same thing happen to them and quess what they both use Quickbooks!

Quickbooks Security

We'll make every effort to put things right, @ReddeerDiana.

I'm aware of how crucial account security is. If I were in your shoes, I'd also feel worried. Rest assured that your concerns have been heard and will be dealt with accordingly.

We take security extremely seriously, and it appears that we fell short in how handling this situation for you. I'm currently discussing the further investigation of this issue with my team. You can be confident that someone will contact you as soon as possible to address any privacy or safety concerns you may have.

In addition, if you encounter any security concerns, you can send them directly to our security team. This way, they can take action on it as early as possible. Proceed with the following steps:

  1. Go to the Online Security Center page.
  2. Click Contact Us.
  3. Look for Report a fake email (or phishing email) and click on it.

In addition, feel free to browse these articles below to know more about our online safety tips, security tips, and FAQs:
