Showing results for
When I run a Budget vs. Actuals report, not all of the revenues and expenses show up in the Actual column.
When I run a YTD vs. Previous YTD Profit & Loss Report, they all show up accurately for this year.
Can anyone help figure out why they do not show up in the Budget Vs. Actuals report? I have tried "All Lines," All Non-Zeros, and All Active.... none make a difference
Thanks for any help.
Good afternoon deedurham-dca-ne,
Nice to see you here in the Community! Let's customize the report to Only accounts with budgeted amounts option. This helps us see budgeted amounts link to an account when creating the transaction.
I have included a video presentation below to guide you.
That should do it! Let me know how the report is looking now. If you still have issues, please reach out to us! We are here to help. Until then, take care.
Ok, thanks. I have not tried what you suggest yet, but that seems to be the OPPOSITE problem.
I WANT things that are actual expenses/revenues that are in lines that do not have a budget amount to show up, but they are not. Not in the BUdget to Actuals report anyway. They show up in Profit & Loss report.
Ok, I don't know why, but I went in the way you said (rather than in from the Reports menu) and I did leave that box unchecked, BUT IT WORKED!! YAY! Many, many thanks!
I do not know why that would make a difference!? It shouldn't! BUT thank you!!!
Dee
You're most certainly welcome, @deedurham-dca-ne.
