Report of Estimates, sold and done, working and unsold.

Help please, need to be able to make a report that shows estimates, sold and done, working and unsold. We use the active to show working estimates (projects), and inactive for others, if this could be three reports that would be fine.  Right now i  to sort it all in excel and that's a fair bit of time.  If it was 2 or 3 reports that would be fine too, i do have a working estimates report (active versus inactive).  Also would be great to have a way to show estimates that are a no go, meaning the client will not buy, i current put a leading X in the memo field as a work around, is there a better method.

Hello @SteveBSME,

Thank you for posting here in the Community. I'm here to help you with your concern about running reports in QuickBooks.

Currently, a specific report that can show all the details you need is unavailable. For now, I recommend using the existing workaround you're using by exporting the reports to Excel and customizing them based on your needs.

Though, it would be beneficial to have the ability to pull up this information in an easier way. Our engineers might be working to bring this feature over to this platform in the future. You can click the Help tab at the top menu bar and select New Features to view the product updates.

For more information, as well as how to configure the Display and Filters tab, I recommend the following article: Customize reports in QuickBooks Desktop.

Leave a comment below if you have other concerns about running the reports in QuickBooks. The Community and I will be around to help you.

yes this is really not of any help.  I was actually looking for help from someone who is tracking estimates, not a generic response.  I am spending hours sorting these reports.  Someone else has obviously solved this and can help me.  Steve
