Running a group of memorized reports with one click (not scheduled)

I frequently need information from 4 of my Memorized Reports together. Currently, I select each of the 4 reports, one at a time, from my Memorized Report menu.

Is it possible to generate a group of reports that run automatically when I select the group. My goal is to make one request and all 4 of the designated reports will generate.

I cannot Schedule Reports because my virtual desktop security has disabled that function. Additionally, I would like to generate these at-will (not only on a scheduled basis).

Any advice is appreciated!

Thank you,

Dana

I can help you run a group of memorized reports, @DanBu.

First, you can set up a memorized report group to save memorized reports. Here's how:

  1. Go to the Reports menu, then Memorized Reports.
  2. Select the Memorized Report List and choose the Memorized Report button.
  3. Click New Group.
  4. Type in the name you want to use for the group.
  5. Hit OK.

Once you've created the group, you can open it and choose which reports to run. You can check the boxes next to them and click the Display button. This will open multiple reports at the same time.

In case you want to combine your financial reports from multiple QuickBooks Desktop company files, you can check out this article for guidance: Combine reports from multiple company files.

Thank you!!

Once I created the group, this worked if I added a step to your instructions:

Reports > Process Multiple Reports > there I see what you describe: an option to select the Memorized Reports with checkmarks and hit Display.

Are you aware of a way to pre-save a collection of Reports to generate so a person would not have to manually select by checkmarks each time?

Thank you again,

Dana

Hey there, DanBu.

I appreciate you for sharing this alternate method to view memorized reports. This information will surely save a lot of users business time.

Having an automated way to view the pre-save collection of statements is currently unavailable. You still have to use the Memorize Report feature to see the list of predefined group names and reports. For more insights on how this option works, you can browse through this guide: Create, access and modify memorized reports.

In addition, the Customize Report and QuickBooks Advanced Reporting features combine financial reports from multiple entities or businesses:

Reach out to me again if you have additional questions about memorizing reports and other product-related concerns. I'll get back to assist you further. Enjoy the rest of the day, DanBu.
