Sales Tax Center is not working for more than a month now. I can't even add sale tax to a new invoice. I cannot switch to Automated as the system errors out. Anyone else?

In Sales Tax Center, under Sales Tax Owed in table, a message reads simply " Sorry, an error occurred"

I can't record tax payments properly.

And as of this morning, I cannot add sales tax to a new invoice, although I was able to yesterday afternoon.

I've been a quickbooks user for over 20 years and have never had any significant issues, but this one is really disastrous. I reported the issue early November and have not heard anything about it.
There were suggestions from my previous thread to switch to Automated Sales Tax but the process errors out with a few different messages. Also, I'd rather stay on manual anyway.

At times, due to the accumulation of temporary files, images, and other web page components, the browser's cache can become filled and cause issues when working with your QuickBooks Online (QBO) account. It can lead to problems such as encountering errors when using your QBO. I suggest running QBO in a private or incognito browsing mode to help your computer run optimally and regain some storage space to continue working seamlessly. See these keyboard shortcuts to open a private window:

 

  • Google Chrome: Ctrl + Shift + N
  • Mozilla Firefox: Ctrl + Shift + P
  • Safari: Command + Option + P

I have the same problem and this might help you.  Per another post, I escalated my support case to the Office of the President.
