It could be that the date range of the Snapshots is different from the date range in the report. This is the reason why you're experiencing this kind of behavior. To fix this, let's make sure that they are the same if you're using cash or accrual method of accounting.
Heres how to check the date range:
Reports
Snapshots
You can also Customize a Snapshot tab for your preference.
If you have confusion feel free to ask, I'll be happy to assist you further. Take care!
The only way I can find to get Member equity report is from snapshot, I can't find it under the report tab
I am looking and probably blind but can,t see anything in snapshot to change date range in upper right corner
In snapshot, I can see where to change the date range in all boxes except account balances where I am seeing the problem
I appreciate that you try to follow the previous instructions, @damage deposit.
The Account Balances section shows you the running amount of each account as of to date. That's why there is no option to customize.

with 25000$ ?
Jumping in to share some help, Damage deposit.
We're unable to customize the date of the Company Snapshot. As previously shared, the amounts in the report are the current balance of the account.
Although, you can double-click on the amount under the Balance column to get a clearer view where the amount was coming from.
Aside from that, you can also run an account Quick Report to further check what's causing the amount difference. Here's how:

I think I may have found it, what do you think
Snapshot members equity does NOT include Closing Entry numbers
Running the report DOES include Closing Entry numbers
Both reports are cumulative from inception
When I add this back in the numbers match
I guess don't trust snapshot for this info, but run the report
