I know how you can incorporate account numbers into your financial statements, ssutton.

The Show account numbers option should be enabled so your account numbers will automatically be pulled into your financial statements. To do this, here's how:

  1. Go to the Settings menu or the Gear icon.
  2. Select Account and settings.
  3. Go to the Advanced tab and click the Chart of Accounts section.
  4. Make sure the Enable account numbers feature is turned on and then click the Show account numbers checkbox.
  5. Click Save, then Done82.PNG

Moreover, as long as you've entered the Account number in the Chart of accounts, those should automatically show before or beside their name on your financial reports (for example, Profit and Loss and Balance Sheet). See the screenshots below for your reference.

Also, I'd recommend regularly reconciling your accounts (monthly) to effectively track your business revenue and keep your financial data updated.

You can always let me know in the comments if you have any other concerns about keeping your Chart of accounts organized. We in the Community will get you covered.
