Greetings, Eward, and welcome to the Community space. I'll share details about how QuickBooks Online (QBO) records split transactions and ensure your vendors' payments are assigned correctly to corresponding projects.
When you split a vendor's payment into multiple projects, program will show the total transaction amount as a single entry in the Transactions tab on the project's page. However, you can find the allocated amount for each project on the Overview tab. I've included a screenshot below for your visual reference.
Furthermore, ensure you entered and assigned the amounts to each project correctly. You can refer to these resources below for a complete guide on paying contractors in QBO.

Thank you very much for the quick reply! I did validate that everything in the register is accurate, it is split correctly there. However, in the project view, it is inaccurate. I suspect it’s a viewing problem and not an accounting problem.
