Hi rocksolidav,
Your client may be experiencing some browser-related issues when paying invoices. Let's fix it by performing some steps.
Before doing so, can you share a screenshot of the buttons that you're clients are seeing when paying invoices?
In the meantime, let's fix this by performing some troubleshooting steps. To begin with, let them log into an incognito window and pay the transaction from there. They can use these keyboard keys to open one:
If they're able to get rid of the mentioned buttons, they can continue paying invoices on a regular browser and clear its cache. Piled cache can also be the reason for some unexpected issues on the opened pages.
They can also switch to a different browser like Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox, Microsoft Edge, or Safari.

Maybe I wasn't clear on my question. What I need to accomplish is have "NO" links for payment via Quickbooks that are appearing on the client end with the invoice. I want nothing more than the Invoice to be sent.
I have all payment options noted on my invoice. It has been this way for 10 years and all of a sudden they are seeing links to pay. Something has changed and not by me. All boxes have been unchecked in my settings that would enable payments. If I can't resolve this I'll simply change to another service as this is a hindrance on my clients paying as they always have with no issues.
Thank You In Advance for any Guidance
Rob
I understand the challenges you are facing with regard to removing the payment link in your invoices, Rob. Rest assured that I'm here to help.
There are two ways to remove the payment link from the invoice. Firstly, you can turn off the online payments option within the invoice by going to the Print or Preview section at the bottom of the invoice page. Then, uncheck the Add a Pay invoice link and Add a QR Code options.
However, if you have already unchecked these boxes in your settings and still facing the issue, I recommend reaching out to QuickBooks Payments Support team for further assistance. I have the same question. This field used to have the custom text with payment instructions that I entered in settings. Now they see this "Looking for a way to pay?" message and it's very confusing. I didn't change anything.
Customers see it when they click on an invoice link or the "Review and Pay" button in the invoice email.
I'll share some information why you're customers are seeing the message, In Stride Bookkeeping.

This response doesn't seem to bear any relation to the problem I'm having.
Yes this text is confusing. On top of now charging for AcH payments quickbooks is trying to scam us into using their payment services by confusing our customers!
this is a deceptive practice intended to make less tech savvy people think that quickbooks pay is the only option.
when the client clicks through it says that the company will be in contact!
I have exactly the same issue. Our members are immediately clicking on the "View Details" Button instead of looking for the attachments - with the result that I receive lots of emails requesting some more information about how we would like to be paid. This is very confusing. anyone found a Solution to get rid of that "View Details" Button?
would make our life easier and better !
Thanks
