Hello, JAANDRICH. I'll provide some information regarding how to switch from Sage 50 to QuickBooks Online.

You can only use the build Import from Sage 50/Peachtree feature in QuickBooks Online when your business uses the Accrual basis accounting method. In your case, you'll have to import your data manually since you're using the Cash basis accounting. This article contains more information: Convert from Sage 50 to QuickBooks Online.

You can use the Import data tool to download a CSV file of the data you want to import. You can import the following information to QuickBooks Online:

• Bank Data
• Customers
• Vendors
• Chart of Accounts
• Products and Services
• Invoices

Here's how:

1. Go to the Gear icon and select Import Data.
2. Click on Customers and choose Browse to upload the file from your computer. Choose the file, and select Open.
3. Select Next.
4. Match your field to the corresponding QuickBooks Online field.
5. Follow the prompts.
6. Once done, click on Import.

You can also consider looking for any third-party app to help you integrate your data into QuickBooks Online company. Here's how:

1.  Go to the Apps tab and then click Find Apps.
2. In the Search bar, type Converter as your keyword.
3. Choose the app that best suits your business needs.
4. Once you're ready, click on the app and then press the Get app now button.

If you are already familiar with CoA in your old Sage, you can purchase a 3rd party service to prepare your account in QBO. They will help to migrate CoA and List data (Customer, Vendor, Item). Regarding inventory, you can ask to bring inventory details like name, code, description, sales account, purchase account, sales price, purchase price, etc. All items will be imported as "non-inventory" type in QBO and after the completion of the migration, your team needs to manually change the type non-Inventory to Inventory and add the quantity on hand manually for each item.
