When setting up a new company file, QuickBooks initially creates a list of accounts by default and have them customized for you. Instead of manually entering your accounts, you can reach out to your Sage support on how you can transfer your data to QuickBooks. Then, you can import these transactions using an IIF file.

If you are already familiar with CoA in your old Sage, you can purchase a 3rd party service to prepare your account in QBO. They will help to migrate CoA and List data (Customer, Vendor, Item). Regarding inventory, you can ask to bring inventory details like name, code, description, sales account, purchase account, sales price, purchase price, etc. All items will be imported as "non-inventory" type in QBO and after the completion of the migration, your team needs to manually change the type non-Inventory to Inventory and add the quantity on hand manually for each item.
