You may have two options:

1. Explore this app for multi currency transaction

https://veem.grsm.io/veems

2.Explore this app to accept international credit card payment

Hope it helps.

Hi there, info788.

Currently, paying the invoice using a foreign bank is unavailable in QuickBooks Online. Merchant Services only accept payments from US banks.

Your customer can contact the card-issuing bank to know if there is a way of using their international card with U.S. based businesses. For additional information about these details, please refer to this article: Accept Non-US credit card from customers using QuickBooks Merchant Services.

For now, I suggest looking for a 3rd-party app that can integrate with QBO to allow your customer pay through online using international bank. To do this, you'll need to go in the Apps inside QBO.

Here's how:

  1. Click Apps in the left navigation menu.
  2. Click the Browse Category drop-down menu, select Data Sync.
  3. Select the app you want to integrate.
  4. Click Get App Now and complete the following on-screen instructions.

Please check this article on how to set up an unscheduled recurring invoice so you can edit the template and send it to different customers: Create the same invoice for multiple customers.

Please let me know if you have other questions related with QuickBooks. Community Team is always here to help you.

Are there any plans to allow this? I have clients in Canada, and receiving payment has become a giant headache!

We're taking notes of your feedback and suggestions, @ThereseJardine.

I can see that the option to receive credit card payments from a non-US client is helpful to you and your business to have a smooth processing payment. However, as a workaround, you can consider looking for a third-party application that can process payments outside the US or let your client pay through PayPal.

For now, I encourage sending feedback to our engineering team by going to the Gear icon, then selecting Feedback. This way, they can consider checking and working on the option to receive payments from a non-US client.

Also, you can visit our blog site so you'll be able to get the latest news about QuickBooks and what our Product Care Team is working on.

Please continue to reach me here with any additional questions or clarification on processing payments. I'll be sure to get back to you.

@ThereseJardine

Consider the apps I mentioned in earlier post. You may also explore this app to compare
