Unbilled Time report sorted by project not customer

Unbilled Time and Expenses with EE & Hours Report, how do I print this report sorted by project number instead of customer? I downloaded the report with none as the "group by" into excel and then separated the the project customer name from the project number, then sorted by project humber and summed after each project number. This would be great to have as a report instead of me having to download into excel and manipulate the data to get the report.

Unbilled Time report sorted by project not customer

Hi there, @di3. I recognize the importance of sorting your unbilled time report by project in QuickBooks Online (QBO). Let me share details about this feature.

Sorting the report by project number directly in QuickBooks Online (QBO) is not an option for now. I can see how important it is for you to save time by sorting the report within the system rather than manually exporting and adjusting the data in Excel. While it's not yet supported, I recommend sending a feature request directly to our product developers. This way, they can evaluate the possibility of incorporating this in future updates.

To start:

  1. Go to the Gear icon, then Feedback.
  2. Enter your comments or product suggestions.
  3. Tap Next to submit.

Once done, your valuable suggestion goes to our Product Development team to help improve your QBO experience. You can track feature requests through the QuickBooks Online Feature Requests website.

To further enhance your understanding while generating your reports in QuickBooks, you can review the resources from this link: Run reports in QuickBooks Online.

You can also save the current customization settings of your reports by memorizing them for future use.

Please extend your patience about this matter. If you have follow-up questions about your unbilled time report, let me know by leaving a comment below. I'm always here to help. Have a great day!
