BuilderTrend says the jobs are synced.  Why are they not in QuickBooks?

We have jobs created in BuilderTrend that we are trying to link in QuickBooks online to the customer and sub-customer related to this job but they aren't syncing

I can see the importance of syncing your data to QuickBooks, @sbroom. Rest assured, I'm here to help ensure that the jobs created in Buildertrend are visible in QuickBooks Online (QBO).

To begin with, the visibility of your data in QuickBooks depends on the correct setup and synchronization between both platforms.

Since you've mentioned that Buildertrend indicates a successful sync,  I recommend checking the Projects tab in QuickBooks, where jobs are referred to as projects, to see if your Buildertrend entries are reflected there.

Moreover, I also suggest checking with the Customers tab to confirm that the synced data is present. To do that, here's how:

  1. navigate to Sales, then Customers.
  2. Select a customer to check.
  3. Then click Transaction List or Projects.

If you don’t find any of your jobs in both the Projects and Customers tabs, I suggest reaching out to the Buildertrend Support Team. They can double-check the connection between Buildertrend and QuickBooks, as the data that gets synced depends on the information provided. You can contact their customer representative at this link:

Furthermore, to effectively track your project's profitability and learn about managing the Projects feature in QBO, please refer to this article for more information: Manage projects in QuickBooks Online.

Let me know if you have further questions about managing projects in QBO. I'll gladly help. Take care.
