We just migrated to QBO and just found that our custom reports are not transferred. We run a detail report for one account with class subtotals. When I try to customize the columns, I don't see the option to add the "Name Email" to the report. There is only useless advice to export to excel and add the email addresses manually. The information is stored on the Customer Profile, why can't this column be added?

Cause QBO is so much more basic and inflexible than desktop

a non partisan comparison of QBO vs QB desktop

Thanks,  I think it's time to return to desktop.

FYI, QB Desktop is being discontinued for good on January 31, 2023.  It took me FOREVER to become proficient at QB and I'm very upset that I'm forced to use QBO.

I think the default form of QBO is a "NEW VIEW"  It is so new that many of the functions are not working yet.

I had real problems with custom fields and switched to the "OLD VIEW" and many things worked much better.  Try switching to the "OLD VIEW" in the tab in the upper right corner of the page.
