Hello again, chane.
Yes, you have the option to transfer from QuickBooks Online (QBO) to QuickBooks Desktop (QBDT). You might want to try our free trial here.
Know that there are some transactions that will not be exported by the time you transfer. I have provided a useful link for you to check on what are the limitation when transferring from QuickBooks Online to QuickBooks Desktop.
Please check this one: Export limitations - QuickBooks Online to QuickBooks Desktop.
Feel free to post again, if there's something that I can help. Have a great day!
Hello there, chane.
Recording the same inventory items for a different location is unavailable in QuickBooks Online. I will let our engineering team know that you'd like this feature.
Though, you might want to use a third-party application integrated with QuickBooks Online. These other applications can track the same inventory items for a different location.
If there's anything that I can help, feel free to reach out to me.
Hi Adrian,
Thank you for your reply.
I have been researching aps but they are more focused on manufacturing which we do not need. and at that cost it does not make sense taking an app that would only be used for a multi location functionality.
Are the engineers able to ad such a feature and if so how long do you think it would take?
Thanks for getting back to me, chane.
Since the recommended app is not suitable for your business, you'll have to manually enter the inventory items separately.
In regards when the feature to be added, We don't have a specific time when our engineers can implement this feature. We will give you update once this feature is available.

Thanks again.
I have seen that quickbooks desktop offers multiple inventory locations. would it be possible to upgrade or transfer our online account to quickbooks desktop.

Good day,
Could you kindly be of assistance once again.
How exactly does one upgrade from online to desktop specifically version enterprise platinum that offers separate inventory locations. Also what are the costs involved.
Regards,
Chane

Hi support team,
Do you have any update for this feature, "keep record of the same stock items in different shops". I have the same problem with Chane. I am using QBO advance.
Thanks.

Consider having an inventory management app with multi warehouse feature to integrate with your QBO.
Thanks, but I use third party warehouses, I am considering to create Sku for products.
