What happens if I turn off my inventory?

Hello,

If we decide to turn off the inventory on QB Desktop.. then how would this affect our financials and PO's? 

We are not 100% sure if we should turn it off since we do not use it. All and any feedback is greatly appreciated!

What happens if I turn off my inventory?

Yes, you can just turn off your inventory without affecting your financial record and POS. However, you can no longer track the inventory of your current items. This can also affect the items on the list. 

 

Follow these steps to turn it off:

 

  1. Go to the Edit menu. Then, choose Preferences.
  2. Within the Company Preferences tab, select Items & Inventory
  3. Select the Advanced Inventory Settings button.
  4. Make sure to uncheck all the boxes of the features that you currently using.inventory.PNG
