Before anything else, please be aware that Bill pay is a different program you can use within your QBO account through integration. You'll have to purchase the program outside QuickBooks to connect it with your existing QBO account. Also, know that Bill pay is a program handled by Bill.com, the leader in bill payment solutions. They're a trusted Intuit partner, and all the transactions happen within their engine.
Another thing to take note of is that billing with bill pay is not the same as with QuickBooks since the program doesn't offer any monthly or annual subscriptions. They only charge you per transaction that you process using their program. You can also expect that each program offers different features, and that said, they come at different prices.
If you're ready, here's how you can get a bill pay program integrated with your QuickBooks Online company:
- Access your QuickBooks Online company.
- On the left navigational bar, go to the Apps Tab.
- In the search bar, type Bill Payment as your keyword.
- Choose the app that best suits your business needs.
- Click on the app, and then hit the Get app now button.
