Can we sue Quickbooks for charging ACH fees? The entire idea of an ACH transfer is that it's between banks and REMOVES THE NEED FOR FEES. I was wrongly charged a fee and I WILL get that money back. I did not work hard to give quickbooks a cut of every single job I do. If you honestly think you'll get away with that, I can guarantee you won't. Because whoever set this up should be in prison for theft. You are stealing a cut of every single job from every single small business owner who uses your company. That is straight up theft and you should be dealt the harshest criminal sentence known to man.

What do you think gives you the right to take ACH fees from customers? The entire point of ACH transfers is to avoid fees. WTF? Explain your position on how you think this is morally right because you're treading on dangerous grounds.

I just received my first ACH payment through QBO in a very long time and was shocked to see a $10 fee.  On top of Intuit tripling the price of the software over the last 3-4 years.  This is ridiculous.  You're squeezing so much more money from us without offering better service. I'd much rather wait 5 days and pay no fees.  It's not worth it.  Will be very happy to leave QBO when I can.

@cam6

Afaik, all cloud-based accounting apps will charge fees for receiving ACH payments on their invoices. You must ask your clients to transfer or wire payments manually, or use a 3rd party processor to accept ACH payments for free and integrate it with your QBO/QBD.

Was there any grandfathering for previous users?

Has anyone looked at class action suit for this matter?

It's clearly not an adjustment of a fee or charge ( like a credit card processing fee) a newly added fee/ cost.

I've just been on the phone for some 3 hrs, QBO has come back with a $7 fee cap per transaction- what an insult.

Afaik, all cloud-based accounting apps will charge fees for receiving ACH payments on their invoices now. If you are running a B2B company, you can utilize a 3rd party processor to accept ACH for free.
