When I print an invoice. The activity line item is the only one that is in bold lettering. How do I change that to standard lettering?

Thanks for bringing this to our attention, Nelson.

The product/service names under the ITEM column are displayed as bold to emphasize the details of your invoice.

We're unable to change the text properties of the ITEM column. I'd recommend letting our Product Development Team about this. They'll put your feedback into consideration for future product updates. You can click the Gear icon in the upper-right corner and select Feedback.

You can always reach out to us if you need anything else.

You didn't answer the question. Also, my forms are not printing what I see.

Greetings SL3,

Thanks for joining in this thread.

As what my colleague JamesDuanT mentioned, we are unable to change the text in the built-in invoice template. As a workaround, you can import your own template.

The Import style feature allows you to create sales forms that match your brand's style. You can personalize them to suit your needs.

Here's how:

To enable Import Style in QuickBooks Labs:

  1. Click the Gear icon, then choose QuickBooks Labs.
  2. Turn on Import Style.
  3. Click Done.

To import custom invoice template into QBO:

  1. Choose the Gear icon, then Custom Form Styles.
  2. Click the New Style drop-down and select Import Style.
  3. Choose Browse and select the template file.
  4. Select Next to upload your document.

As for your other question, may I know what part of the invoice isn't showing as it should be? When there's a printing issue, we can fix it by updating or repairing Adobe Reader/Acrobat.

Let me know how this turns out. I'm happy to help some more if you have questions about QBO. Have a great weekend.
