WHEN I PUT IN A BILL PAYMENT WHY DOES IT SUBTRACT FROM CHECKING ACCOUNT, IF IT IS NOT DUE TO BE PAID FOR 3 MONTHS?

ENTERED BILL PAYMENT ON 10-7-21, NOT DUE TO BE PAID UNTIL 12-27-21, BUT IT SUBTRACTED FROM MY CHECKING ACCOUNT TODAY

Thank you for raising your bill-payment concern, cfaison.

The bill payment will be executed based on the SEND ON date, not on the bill's Due Date. If your send on a date was set on 12-27-21, I would recommend contacting our QBO Support. That way, they can pull up your account and check why your payment was debited in advance. They are open from 6 AM to 6 PM PT on weekdays.
