Currently, responding to emailed invoices or estimates will automatically be sent to the primary admin. As a workaround, you can consider editing the To field manually to add the specific user and remove the primary admin when sending a reply.

 

I understand that you want your customers to respond to the email directly to the specific user. Since this option isn't available, I suggest submitting feedback directly to our product engineers. They may look into this suggestion further and consider adding the option in QuickBooks Online. To submit feedback, you can go to the Gear icon and select Feedback. Then, enter your suggestion and click Submit Feedback.
