Thanks for taking the time to reach out for support here in the Community. I'd be glad to lend a hand with your questions about envelope transfers when using QuickBooks Cash.
The time frame for the money to transfer depends on where it is coming from and/or going to. According to the envelopes article, if you're transferring money from an outside account, it takes 3-5 business days. This is standard for ACH transfers. The money first goes to your QuickBooks Checking account, and then it gets moved to your envelope. Additionally, transferring money from existing funds in your QuickBooks Checking account to an envelope is instantaneous.

I can assure you, Moderator, that the transfer internally from an Envelope to the QB Checking account is NOT instantaneous. It has been SEVERAL DAYS and I still DO NOT SEE MY TRANSFER!!!!!! This might be the last straw for me with QB checking. It is more trouble than it's worth at this time if the transfer feature doesn't work as I was told it would. Absolutely ridiculous and horrible customer service.
THIS IS NOT TRUE, Moderator. I have attempted to transfer money from an Envelope into my QB Checking account and it has been SEVERAL DAYS and still no sign of my money!!! This is EXTREMELY problematic, as I have been holding the bulk of my business funds in envelopes.... BECAUSE IT WAS SUPPOSED TO BE AN INSTANT TRANSFER. After this is resolved, I will be transferring my money all out of QB checking and closing these accounts. The lack of customer service options is RIDICULOUS and nothing works as it's supposed to.
