Why can i no longer search my invoices for key words? the notes tab is gone. my online looks like self employed now.

Currently, we're investigating invoice searching issues in QuickBooks Online (QBO). Please be assured that our engineers are working diligently to resolve this problem.

I recommend contacting our QuickBooks Support Team so that you'll be added to the list of affected users. This way, you'll receive email updates on the investigation's status and be notified once it's been resolved. To expedite the transaction, provide this investigation number INV-94899.

Here's how. 

1. Go to the (?) Help icon.
2. Select Talk to a Human.
3. Enter a short description of your concern.
4. Click on I still need a human.
5. Tap Contact Us to connect with our live support.
6. Choose to Get a callback.

Additionally, you can refer to this article on viewing sortable lists of transaction types. It allows you to click on any column header to sort the list and use the search bar to filter the results further: Search for transactions.

i was entering customer information in the "message to customer" section.

i was able to do a search in invoices and it would bring up every invoice that

had a name or address in that line. now it will not do so.

while it is frustrating currently. i have figured how to avoid this problem by creating

new sub customers under my builders. that way ill never lose an invoice in a sea of

#'s and can go directly to it easily.

i was entering customer information in "message to customer" section.

i was then able to do a search under invoices to pull up all invoices with the same 

key words. now i can not.

i found a solution to add sub customers or "jobs" which has the correct info in a

better field.
