Hi @jjdini,

Intuit expects the most used pages in QuickBooks to load in between 3 to 10 seconds, and we continually monitor our systems to ensure we are meeting this goal.

First, you'll want to check the system requirements for QuickBooks.

QuickBooks Online (QBO) is a web-based service. Also, it relies on your computer or device’s processing power, the amount of available memory (RAM), and the bandwidth of your Internet connection to perform as intended.

Next, here are some ways to improve the performance of the site:

  • Intuit recommends Chrome to get the best experience possible.
  • Ensure your operating system is up to date.
  • Verify your internet speed (bandwidth) is not limiting your QBO experience.

Here's an article for the detailed steps: Why is my QuickBooks Online slow?

The troubleshooting steps above should help you improve the QBO's speed.

Once having the same error again, I suggest contacting our customer support team to check your account in a secure environment.

Let me know the results after trying the steps above. I'm to here provide you additional assistance if you need anything else. Have a good one.

I, too, have been noticing this.  If I get an invoice that has 30 line items or more (and it gets worse the more line items you have), it just lags big time.  A 65-80 line item invoice takes 5-6 HOURS (no joke!) to enter whereas it should take 45-60 minutes.  Not productive at all.  We have troubleshooted this with our IT dept and they have verified this is a QB problem.  When all other programs and internet work fine and you can work just fine in other tabs of the software, it's definitely an issue directly related to Invoicing.  This is one of MANY problems - looking to move to NetSuite in 2021.  Too many problems and not enough support with Quickbooks.
