Why on earth would they change the PO to a small description and a huge price field?

Hi there, @echanken. Let me help you with your purchase order concern in QuickBooks Online (QBO).

Upon checking, there are no recent changes or updates made with the PO window in the program. It's possible that someone who has access to your account recently made these changes. This can be the reason why your PO Description field is small and the Rate field is showing big.

To check, you can review your audit log and see who recently created the purchase orders. They might be the ones who accidentally adjusted the columns section. Here's how:

  1.  Sign in as an admin to access the audit log. Ask your primary admin if you don’t see it.
  2. Go to Settings ⚙ and select Audit Log.
  3. Click Filter.
  4. Use the fields on the Filter panel to choose the appropriate UserDate, or Events filter to narrow the results.
  5. Select Apply.

To fix the issue, open again the purchase order and manually adjust the Description and Rate or Price fields. You can simply click the column lines and drag your mouse to create adjustments.

I have articles that will provide you with steps on how to process a purchase order from an estimate as well as steps on how to track and run purchase order reports in QBO:

I’m happy to offer assistance again if you have more questions about Quickbooks Online. Post a new thread or reply here and I’ll be there.

Thank you for your thoughtful reply.  I should have clarified it is on the print, not during entry.

@echanken   I was wondering the exact same thing.

This now looks lice it's for children. Like, grade school aged children.

It's ridiculous.

And yes, @ReymondO   and ALL the other Intuit/ QB employees that are going to respond, there WAS a change made.  It looks ridiculous and is NOT at all professional.
