Will paid invoices be directly deposited into my linked bank account? How long does that take to show up once invoice is paid?

Are you using QuickBooks Payments? If you're a new user, we'll deposit your first set of payments within 5 business days. These early deposits take a bit longer while we set up your account. Once we set up everything, we'll deposit customer payments much faster. It usually takes 2-3 business days.

However, if you've provided your bank info to your customer to deposit their invoice payments, it'll depend on your bank's processing time.

I am using the quickbooks self employed app- does this work the same as quickbooks payments when it comes to invoices?

You can only sign up for QB Payments if you have QuickBooks products. QB Payments lets you receive payments online from your customer.
