Receipt snap not working

Let's get the Receipt Snap feature to work so you can get back to business.

 

Before we start, may I know what mobile device you're using? Did you receive any error messages when utilizing the feature? Any additional information would be greatly appreciated.

 

In the meantime, let's refresh the data on your mobile app. This will help fix data issues on the app. Here's how:

 

  1. In your QuickBooks Online Mobile App, select the Gear icon. 
  2. Choose the Refresh Data menu.
  3. Tap Yes.

 

Once done, go back and try the Receipt snap feature again to double-check. If it still doesn't work, I'd suggest uninstalling and reinstalling the app.

 

Let me know how the troubleshooting goes, @citizensfirstfir. I want to make sure this issue is taken care of.

Receipt snap not working

I’m using an iPhone. I was scanning in receipts three days ago and suddenly I got this message and it stopped working. All of the receipts I had scanned disappeared and this is all I see. I have updated my phone, reinstallled the app etc with no changes. I do not see in that icon anywhere to refresh data as a choice.

At this time, we have an ongoing investigation where QuickBooks users are unable to utilize the Receipt Snap feature using IOS mobile. Rest assured, our product engineers are diligently working on a fix to this issue.

 

To ensure you'll get an update about the resolution status, I'd recommend reaching out to our QuickBooks Support Team. This way, they can add your company to the list of affected users and provide this investigation number for easy tracking: INV-75208. To reach them, you can follow the steps below:

 

  1. Sign in to your QuickBooks Online account.
  2. Click the Help button.
  3. In the QuickBooks Assistance chatbox, select Talk to a human and choose I still need a human.
  4. Select Contact Us.

Same issue please advise. I deleted and reinstalled app. Same issue. Will not refresh.

Receipt snap not working

This is absolutely unacceptable. I have had the same problem for 4 weeks. How can I trust my small business with a company that cannot fix a software glitch in 4 weeks.  I have roughly 300 receipts piled up waiting on a fix. Not happy at all!

Receipt snap not working

I have just encountered the exact same problem.

It was all working 3 weeks ago, now 'receipt snap' isn't even available.

Neither is the option to refresh data.

I called help desk and followed all the instructions, including uninstall/reinstall app.
feeling disappointed this problem you had logged from 5 months ago isn't resolved.
