Hello there, @TopHatNetwork.
Reconciliation plays a vital role in managing your finances. With this, I wanted to make sure you can complete this process with ease.
Before anything else, I would like to know how you entered the transaction in QuickBooks and what browser are you using? Any additional details will help me picture what happened and how to correct it. Also, it would be nice if you'd send us a screenshot of the reconciliation page.
For now, we can try using a private browser to rule out this unexpected reconciliation problem. Usually, the amount of data stored in the cache can slow down QuickBooks' performance and affect some features. A regular browser will constantly overwrite itself and does not remove history unless done manually.
Private browsing will not save any history, so it's a great place to identify issues in the browser. Use these keyboard shortcuts to launch a new private window:
- Google Chrome: press Ctrl + Shift + N
- Mozilla Firefox: press Ctrl + Shift + P
- Safari: press Command + Shift + N
Reload QuickBooks and see if the issue persists there. If it works, clear the browser's cache. You can also use a different browser for this.
Come back here for additional details or updates about this reconciliation concern. I'll be right here to assist with your QuickBooks questions anytime. Have a good one!
