I have been using Quickbooks online since Dec. 2018, the recurring invoices worked for one month and now it hasn't been working for 2 months. Is there something else I can do? I picked this software thinking that it would save me time. Now I am spending more time on invoicing. I might be switching programs if this is not resolved soon.
Our engineers are still working for a fix on this issue, linderz16. And they'll provide updates this coming third week of April. I'd recommend contacting our QuickBooks Customer Care Team. They can add you to the list of affected users and provide further updates.
For now, you'll need to enter the invoices and send it to your clients manually.
We'd appreciate your patience as we resolve this problem.
Am using quickbooks online since last 3 years and recurring invoices have worked liked a charm till now. However, since 20 April 2019 the recurring invoices stopped going and Next Date is still the same. I reported to quickbooks as every 1st of the month i have around 30 recurring transactions that go out and none went this time. Any help will be much appreciated as I am totally stuck on this.
Also what I noticed is that recurring invoices which has next date 20 Apr 2019 which did not go through there is no way to pause the same and you can Use, duplicate or delete and not pause. Which makes sense as the next date is of past. Please Help !!

Currently, our developers are still working to get this fix. This unusual behavior is expected to be resolved in an upcoming product update. Meanwhile, let's do some troubleshooting steps to help resolve this.
After doing these steps, it should create the transaction as scheduled.
Also, only the Unscheduled type has no option to Pause it. If it is not Unscheduled and still you're unable to pause it, it could be a browser issue. Try to open a private browser and access your account from there. If you can see the option to Pause, go back to the regular browser and clear the cache. Too much cache will result in browser error. Try also to use other browsers like Google Chrome, Internet Explorer, and Mozilla Firefox.

Thanks for the prompt reply... I didnt get "Check the Tax checkbox in the detail lines". I dont see any tax checkbox there. Can you share a screen shot of what you are referring to . I am using quickbooks online in india...thanks a ton

Its been more than 5 days since i have raised a ticket with them and they have no idea. As quickbooks launched in india recently mayne they are not well versed. As this is a known issue it will be great of you guys can help.me.as well as anyways im in touch with indian team and they have no.clue. I believe its a bug so any help will be great

As mentioned by my colleague above, this is an unusual behavior that our developers are still working.
But in addition, the recurring invoices will not show on the Recurring Transactions page if the type is set to a reminder. To change the type, you'll need to recreate the recurring invoice and make sure to set the type to Scheduled. This way, it'll show on the Recurring Transaction page.
Also, I'll be providing the screenshot of the "Tax checkbox in the detail line" for your reference.
As of this time, I suggest following the steps provided by my colleague to process your upcoming recurring invoices while our developers are diligently working on a fix. I'll update this post once we get an update from them.
