I've had to do a clean install again because QB's was giving me the same error code. Windows has stopped working or something. I don't remember the code.
Anyway, with this new install, I can no longer manipulate the report in re: to the width of the columns.
I've tried over and over again. What happened?
On another note, when I clicked on Help, Support was no longer in the drop down.
I'm not sure what else is missing or changed at the moment.
Hello there, AZEmbroiderer.
When you adjust the width of the columns, make sure that you hover your mouse to the 3 dot line.
In the meantime, to view help support. Let's perform some troubleshooting steps to check if this is a possible data issue. To get started, let's ensure your QuickBooks is updated to the latest release: Update QuickBooks Desktop to the latest release.
If you're getting a similar issue, let's do the Rebuild Data tool that can resolve minor and common data issues.
Here's how:
You can check out this helpful article for your reference: Resolve data damage.
To learn more about getting the data you need, check this out: Customize reports in QuickBooks Desktop. This article will help you filter reports just the way you want it.
Please keep me updated on how this works. I want to make sure everything is taken care of.
Hi Grace,
We just did all of what you have listed last week a couple of times since QB's kept shutting down and then wouldn't open at all. I shouldn't have to continually run a Rebuild every time I open or close QB's??
I've also just noticed that I don't have a Refresh button so it took me going thru my email to get to your answer. I don't have any notifications that there is an answer where my name and avatar are in the right corner.
I don't see a Back button either.
I've also got my Open Invoice report open and I cannot click on the invoice in this report so that it opens the actual invoice.
I think I'm going to discover many issues as I get more into my every day work that happened when we did the Rebuilds, etc and Clean Install.
