I create report. Open and close it all day. Come back the next day and it will not open. It has happened before this latest version 3 times. Now it seems to happen every time I make a new report that I want to memorize. Why is this happening?

The error can be caused by the memorized report or the memorized report list being damaged.
First, update QuickBooks Desktop to the latest release to ensure that you have access to the newest features and product enhancements. Once done, re-sort the Memorized Reports list.

What version of QuickBooks are you using?
Mary, the steps you provided is not a good solution. The issue just needs to be fixed. I shouldn't have to go through all of these steps every day for every report that I created the previous day. Every day I create a report and use it all day. The next day it doesn't open. If I create 5 reports. I shouldn't have to recreate 5 reports each day or go through these steps above 5 times every day.
