Scheduled Reports Failing/UAC issue?

I really don’t understand the single user mode requirement. We do not put qb in single user mode unless needed.  For us to do this practically every day would mean we would do it at 1 am.  If we had someone there to switch to single user mode, guess what, they could also run the reports and send them manually.  I know I am going to hear about data integrity but report read, they do not write and for that matter the data is fine when I run a report manually in multi user mode.

Thank you for sharing that link.  Option 3 worked for me and seems to have fixed the issue that the paid QB engineers can't (or won't) fix.  The lack of support on this issue is similar to my past experiences with tech support on other issues -- most recently that I can't get Data Protect to function successfully after upgrading to Windows 11.  I had to switch back to Windows 10 after multiple tech support reps were unable to figure out a solution.
