Hi,
I want to be able to add 'ship to address 3 ' to a report but this does not seem to be an option in the customize option.
Can it be done ?
Regards
Hi @Martinh , Thank you for posting in the Community.
1) go to Reports > Sales > Sales by Ship To Address
2) Click on Customize Report and check off Ship to City, Address 1, Address 2, State, Zip under the Display tab (Set The date range)
3) Under the Filters tab, go to Customers and select the customer you need to run the report for.
4) Click OK
Comment back, cheers.
Hi, It was address 3 I need to add to my report. I have already added the fields you mention.
Regards
Hello again, Martinh. I appreciate you performing the steps provided by my colleague above.
As of this time, the option to add Ship To Address 3 on the report is unavailable. I know how the feature you're looking for would be beneficial to your business. This is a big miss in Quickbooks - we have customers who have an apartment or suite number and those show up as a third line in their ship to field. There must be a ship to address 3 in order to run that report and download that file to Excel. Please add ASAP!

This “solution” assumes a transaction. I wrote a solution that uses the SDK to get ALL the addresses. See it at:
This is not acceptable! The State of Washington demands this info! It's still not available in Enterprise 2024 Desktop. Please give us a workaround then.
Hello there, OEO. I'm here to provide a workaround you can use to show a third shipping address on your reports.
To address this, we can add a custom field to your sales forms. Custom fields are useful as they appear in your reports and can be used to track specific information for customers, vendors, and employees.
Here's how to add a custom field:
Next, include this custom field in your sales template. For detailed instructions, please refer to the section "Track custom name and item fields" in the article: Create and use custom fields in QuickBooks Desktop.
To ensure this new field appears in your reports, please follow these steps:
Lastly, I recommend sending your feedback to our product engineers for them to analyze this and consider adding it for future updates.
Additionally, you can memorize your reports to save your current customization for future use.
The Community is always available to answer your QuickBooks concerns, OEO. Have a good one.
Hi,
Thanks, but how is this supposed to show the actual ship to address 3 field that is part of the shipping address already, which is what we need?
Bob
Hi,
Is this only for the shipping addresses? I would need to add each ship to address 3 to the report. Can't I do this with the export function in Quickbooks already?
Thanks,
Bob
Hi there, @OEO.
I'm addressing your question about adding a third ship to address to your transactions and reports in QuickBooks Desktop (QBDT).
Since the field is a customized column, the address added from the customer's setup won't automatically sync. However, we can manually enter the third address on the field from the customer's profile. This way, it will automatically appear when creating transactions under that customer. Given that you have already added the custom field, I'll walk you through how we can enter the address in the field:
Once done, add this to your template to prevent you from adding the field to every transaction. Here's how:
Note that recent changes or customizations won't retroactively apply to your transactions. Hence, you must manually enter the address in the respective field for it to appear on your reports. I also recommend reviewing the steps shared by my colleague above to learn about customizing your reports and adding this field.
Furthermore, you can refer to this article about exporting reports in the application: Export reports as Excel workbooks in QuickBooks Desktop.
You're always welcome to post a reply if you need additional help with adding addresses or customizing the details on your transactions, @OEO. The Community is available 24/7 to guide you. Take care!
