Weekly timesheets and single time activities are carried over from QuickBooks Desktop (QBDT) to QuickBooks Online (QBO) during data migration. They'll be brought into QBO as-is if you don't have QuickBooks Time. If you're using QuickBooks Time, they'll be carried over as time entries.
In the event you were using QuickBooks Time with QBDT, you'll want to get in touch with our Customer Care team for help with merging your existing account with the new one.
As for unbilled time, these records are changed to billable expenses when imported into QBO.
You can learn more about migrating data by reviewing our Learn how features & data move from QBDT to QBO article.
If there's any additional questions, I'm just a post away. Have a lovely Wednesday!
Before I speak to Customer Care, and so as to perhaps expedite the process, I just want to make sure that I am clear.
I had been using QBDT Weekly Timesheet to enter my time. As far as I know, I was not using QuickBooks Time. I am not seeing the hours for the customer in QBO. They do remain in QBDT, so I can see them there. They do not appear to have been brought in from QBDT to QBO.
just to be clear, I do see the hours in my old version of QBDT that remains on this computer. As far as I know, I was not using Quickbooks Time. I was using the Weekly Timesheet that was part of QBDT.
the hours do not appear to have been brough over to QBO when I migrated from QBDT to QBO.
