When viewing a report, such as a balance sheet or p&l, and I want to see transactions that make up a number, I double-click on the number and a transaction report appears showing the transactions that make up that number.
This transaction report does not show the class associated with the transaction until I customize the report and add that field.
It would be helpful to not have to customize this each time I drill down.

@accounting1lifegroupcom Desktop makes that fairly simple, at least on the Accountant version.
If you go to Reports>Company & Financial, approximately the 6th option down will be Profit & Loss by Class.
This P&L automatically includes the Class column on its subreports when you drill down.
For the Balance Sheet, same deal. Reports>Company & Financial, you'll see one called Balance Sheet by Class.
That being said, QB is terrible at creating Balance Sheets by Class, so take anything that report tells you with several grains of salt, so to speak.
