Show 'REP' with credit memo

Hi all, when I run a report showing all invoices by customer it lists the credit memo's as well (which is great!).

The only thing is that, for a reason unknown to me, it does not list the rep assigned to that customer. It does list the rep with all 'normal' invoices, just not with the credit memo's.

As I need to calculate commission for my reps, credit memo's are quite an important item in this matter :)

How can I change this?

Show 'REP' with credit memo

I appreciate you getting back to us and performing the steps provided by my colleague above, @JvP79.

You'll have to make sure that the credit memo has a designated REP to show it on the report. And I'd be glad to walk you through the steps.

First off, let's edit the credit memo template to add the REP header. Here's how:

  1. Go to the Lists menu.
  2. Select Template.
  3. In the Template window, choose Credit Memo.
  4. Click the Additional Customization button.
  5. In the Header tab, put a check-mark on the REP.
  6. Click OK, then select OK in the Basic Customization.

Then, run and customize the Transaction List by Customer report and choose each Credit Memo to select a REP. Let me guide you how.

  1. In the Transaction List by Customer report, double-click the Credit Memo.
  2. In the REP drop-down, select the appropriate rep.
  3. Click Save & Close.

Once done, repeat the steps for the rest of the credit memo.

I've attached screenshots below for your visual reference.

Show 'REP' with credit memo

Thank you for your answer, but it does not solve the issue. When the report is shown it shows the exact same issue I described in my first report.

The credit memo's are all shown with all selected reporting fields, except for the rep. This one is empty..

Below a screenshot from the report with the credit memo's

And here is the screenshot of a report showing the invoices, which do show the rep.
