There isn't a way to bulk update transactions in the way you suggest. There is something a little like this in the accountant versions ~"data file cleanup" feature, but it's limited. I've never used it.

You can Edit and change the account type, or Rename an account, if everything there really is something else; or Merge that to another account. It depends what part needs to be changed.
